There are several options can be used by a doctor or surgeon to identify your uterine fibroids. If you are applying all the symptoms of uterine fibroids, you may take action by seeing doctor to check whether you are affected or not. This is important for you to make further decision (treatments) for your own good. After that, you can eliminate the fibroids with a suitable treatment based on your conditions.


Indeed, misunderstanding about uterine fibroids also can be avoided since there are many cases where women were affecting by the other health problem but them merely assuming that they have fibroids in their uterus. That was kind of ridiculous but that was can happen to anyone after all due to panic situation and lack of basic knowledge as well as experiences. So, how to confirm the existence of uterine fibroids? Many types of imaging technology can be used to diagnose your fibroids’ availability, size or location in your uterus. A health practitioner doctor may use technology like MRI (magnetic resonance imaging), ultrasound, cat-scan (CT) or X-rays. Plus, fibroids are usually found by abdominal or pelvic examination or pelvic ultrasound. In some cases, diagnose should be done by surgery which are Hysteroscopy and Laparoscopy.

Hysteroscopy
This type of surgery is where a camera will insert by the surgeon or doctor through the vagina on a long tube directly into your uterus in order to see the fibroids directly.

Laparoscopy
This is include where a small cut is made into your abdomen and then inflating it with a gas (harmless). After that, the surgeon may use a small viewing instrument containing a light and can look for the fibroids in your uterus.

After all, to diagnose your fibroids, you can go to your nearer healthcare centre that provided the kind of technology. However, you may refer to your doctor first which one option that is suitable to be used on you. In fact, not every clinic or healthcare centre is provided with those particular preferences. The best thing is, you already accomplish some information about how to diagnose uterine fibroids. Therefore, I think there will no problem that will arise as long as you put some effort to do so.
